CONSIDER ABSENTEE VOTING!
The Wisconsin Election Commission is strongly advocating for voting via the absentee ballot option. Here’s how:
Go to this link: https://myvote.wi.gov/en-us/.
– On the MyVote site you will see a button that says “Vote Absentee” – click it!
– Enter your name and date of birth to make sure you’re registered.
– Click on the blue button that says ‘Request Absentee Ballot’ and follow the prompts
– You will need to upload a copy of your photo ID.
– Deadline for online absentee ballot requests is April 2, 2020 by 5pm. If you miss that deadline it can still be done in person at City Hall.
NOT REGISTERED? No problem – we can still get you registered to vote. The deadline for doing this online has passed however we can still do that in person in City Hall. We will just do it in a safe and creative manner. Call me at City Hall and we will make arrangements.
If you are unable to complete this process, or any part of it, online please call me at City Hall at any time and we will complete the process together.
Bottom line folks – voting is essential to who we are as a nation and we will make this work!
