FIREWORK PERMITS REQUIRED – DON’T WAIT! Planning to set off fireworks this 4th of July in Fountain City? 
You MUST complete a Firework Permit application and turn it in to City Hall for approval. The permit must be reviewed and signed by the Mayor before use.
Deadline to submit your permit:
Thursday, July 3, 2026 by 3:30 PM
IMPORTANT: City Hall will be CLOSED on Friday, July 4, 2026, so permits will NOT be processed after the deadline.
Drop off completed forms at City Hall (42 N Main Street) during office hours or email to [email protected] for approval
No permit = no fireworks. Don’t miss your chance—get it done early!Please help spread the word!
