Closure – Main Street, Wednesday, June 16, 2021, 10am – 2pm

“Well they said it couldn’t be done.” “Well that’s the reason son”.

Recognize those lines? If you do you’ll appreciate what’s headed into our fair city this Wednesday. Dozens of participants in The Bandit Run, commemorating that classic movie and that Trans Am, will be lining our city streets! They’ll be ‘East Bound and Down’, but stopping to visit Elmer’s Auto and Toy Museum and instead of that ‘beer in Texarkana’ they’ll be enjoying lunch and maybe a Fountain Brew at The Monarch Public House.

To accommodate these folks we will be closing Main Street from North Street to Eagle Street. That will begin at 10am ending at 2pm when they’ll be ‘loaded up and truckin’ on to their next stop.
