As we approach closer to the winter season please be aware of the need to keep your sidewalks clear of snow.
REMOVAL OF SNOW.
(a) Duty to Remove. It is hereby made the duty of the owner of any building, or lot of land, bordering on any street in said city of Fountain City, where there is a sidewalk, to remove the snow from such side-walk, within twelve hours after it has ceased to snow, or cause the same to be removed within that time, at his expense.
(b) Failure to remove. In case such owner shall neglect or fail to remove the snow as herein provided, it shall be the duty of the street commissioner to remove the same forthwith, at the expense of such owner.
